Ika was a playful and curios child of six. her parents took great pride in her question and wit .As she was the youngest in the family, she was given the small responsibilities from time to time. One such task went like this.
Ika father had a hard day at the office. He was watching television and did not went to be disturbed. Soon there doorbell was ringing. Who was sent but Ika to "investigate" the ring? She came back to say that the "troublesome" grass cutter was at the gate.
"Well. tell him I not in". instructed the farther to the child.
Ika went out and said, "sir, my father told me to tell you that he is not in."
It embarrassed the father to no end.
children know no malice. It is adulthood that brings out this phenomenon.
